Evoran Shin popped out of the clone tank on 2/7-07, I had heard about EVE online from various sources and thought I'd finally give it a try.
I wasn't quite sure about anything when I fired it up the first time, the options seemed endless and the tutorial back then was somewhat lacking.
I do remember being told "you're now ready to make your own way in the universe" after mining a roid, shooting a pirate drone and building some odd blueprint.
"Really?? I am??" was the only thing i thought.
The thing I was sure about was that I wanted to build.
I'd heard many great things about the industrial part of EVE O and as I started sinking my teeth into it, I was not disappointed.
Realizing I'd might want to run missions or even brave the occasional PvP encounter, I made Evoran a "brother".
Evv Shin was born slightly after Evoran and quickly started down the path of pointing guns at things, mostly pointing them at mission NPC's though.
Somewhere down the line, Niokan Taron joined the familiy and quickly decided to shoot people instead of red crosses.
These days I fly with TEST Alliance wherever they/we stage, being bad and trying not to get killed.
I started writing this blog, mostly as a diary for myself, a record of my life in New Eden and in the event that maybe one other person might take something useful away from this.
